Support is provided within people’s own homes or in the community.</p>\n<p>As a mental health support worker you will work with individuals in a variety of ways to better manage their mental health and wellbeing, develop and maximise independence, become socially inclusive, and increase choices within the community. This involves outcome focused structured programs as well as person centred support.</p>\n<p>Applicants should have a minimum of NVQ2, or equivalent, and experience of working in a social care setting, preferably within mental health. Ability to develop supportive relationships, promoting independence and well-being are key for this role. You will be highly motivated and have experience of social inclusion and building community links.
