This role is crucial in driving forward inclusive practice within early years settings, ensuring that children receive the support they need at the earliest opportunity.</p>\n<p>As a SEND officer you will play a decisive role in planning and delivering training to early years practitioners from early identification to SENCO level three accredited training. You will also attend setting to discuss their overall approach to supporting children with SEND, identifying strengths and areas to develop. You will provide advice and guidance for individual children as requested by practitioners.</p>\n<p>To be successful in this role you will have a degree in either Early years, Education or health and social care. Extensive knowledge of key legislation such as Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND code of practice.
