Working within the central finance team you will be responsible for:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing financial guidance and support to senior management and budget holders.</li>\n<li>Challenging and supporting senior management in managing spend on a portfolio basis.</li>\n<li>Recognising potential risk and opportunities and identifying solutions to manage them.</li>\n<li>The monthly end reporting cycle and management accounts.</li>\n<li>Periodic forecasting and yearly budget setting.</li>\n<li>Helping to translate financial information into insightful commentaries.</li>\n<li>Providing input into benchmarking, dashboarding and financial modelling.</li>\n<li>Overseeing operational financial management and audits.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About you:</strong></p>\n<p>The successful candidate for the role of Finance Business Partner will have:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>A CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualification.</li>\n<li>Strong accounting knowledge and ability to explain concepts to colleagues.</li>\n<li>Extensive experience in financial management, including budget monitoring and risk management.</li>\n<li>Expertise in completing financial reports and handling both core transactional and strategic responsibilities.</li>\n<li>Sound organisation and time management skills with an attention to detail.</li>\n<li>Be able to adapt to changing priorities in a pressurised environment.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About us:</strong></p>\n<p>The University Schools Trust (UST) is a partnership of schools, universities, and public and private sector bodies.
