Working within the outreach team, you will:<ul> <li>Offer emotional and practical support to people experiencing homelessness or at risk of losing their home </li> <li>Share your own journey to help customers overcome challenges and build resilience </li> <li>Work alongside outreach workers to support people with housing, benefits, mental health, and substance misuse issues </li> <li>Assist customers in accessing support services and making positive life changes </li> <li>Provide valuable insights to shape the future of homelessness support services </li> <li>Help to engage individuals facing multiple disadvantages, including those involved in the criminal justice system </li>\n</ul>What we're looking for To be successful in this role, you will:<ul> <li>Have lived experience of homelessness or being at risk of homelessness, particularly while managing mental health challenges or being in the criminal justice system </li> <li>Be open and honest in sharing your personal experiences to support and inspire others </li> <li>Be passionate about helping people achieve independence, stability, and wellbeing </li> <li>Have a kind and empathetic approach, recognising the unique needs of a diverse customer base </li> <li>Be a positive role model, demonstrating that change and progress are possible </li>\n</ul>This role requires an Enhanced DBS check.
