About the team
Hertfordshire County Council Reuse Shops sell good quality low priced items that have been dropped off at the Recycling Centres by members of the public. Through our Community Donations Scheme, we offer some of these items for free to registered charities, recognised community groups and schools in Hertfordshire.
About the role
You will be responsible for running the reuse shop, generating an income through identifying and selling items, updating our Facebook pages and overseeing the work of Reuse Assistants. (If applicable). You will also be given training to test electrical items for resale

Essential:
You are an enthusiastic team player with an ability to use their own initiative, be proactive and actively participate in the improvement of the service.
You will be able to communicate clearly and politely with customers and members of the team. Be able to manage money and able to use a computer or willing to learn.
Desirable:
You may be required to visit other centres so access to your own vehicle would be desirable to so you can provide cover as required.
