Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council work in partnership and the HR & OD Team provide support to both organisations.
About the role:
This is an exciting new position to design, facilitate and coordinate training and development for Officers and Members of both Brentwood Borough and Rochford District Council.
This includes face to face and hybrid training, along with commissioning training delivery and overseeing the mandatory completion of a range of e-learning courses to ensure we meet our obligations. You will build relationships with local premises and subject matter experts to deliver training, manage the communications and bookings, ensuring that training is evaluated, enabling you to use your full expertise and oversee the whole process.
This is a real opportunity to make a positive difference to our organisations. If you are confident and passionate about learning and development, innovative in your ideas for learning and all about making a difference, then we want to hear from you.
The role will sit within the small generalist HR & OD Team, meaning no 2 days will be the same. We work in a hybrid way with the principles of 2-3 days in the office, varying between both Brentwood Borough and Rochford District Council, in addition to home working, and based on the needs of the service.
About the candidate:
You will have experience of working within an organisational development environment and hold a Level 3 CIPD or have the equivalent level of experience. Knowledge of fundamental organisational development processes and the ability to think creatively to deliver innovative solutions to challenges is essential.
You will have a good eye for detail, with the ability to manage your workload effectively, be self-motivated and adaptable, with excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
Please review the job description and person specification for the full role requirements.
Please note - starting salary will be dependent upon skills and qualifications, and progression subject to satisfactory performance.
Closing Date for accepting applications: noon on 14 April 2025
Interview date: Friday 25 April 2025
