Our Team: Planning and Transport Policy
Are you excited about Heritage, Transport or Environment Planning Policy? Do you have relevant Town Planning qualification and or Planning Policy experience and want to take your career to the next level?
Halton are looking for motivated Planning Policy Planners to join its Planning & Transport Policy team. Halton adopted its ambitious Local Plan in 2022 which provides a platform for future generations to live, work and visit.
To achieve this at pace, there is an organisational commitment to build operational capacity across a number of service areas. As a result, we have two exciting career opportunities in roles that will directly contribute to the growth and development of our local area.
By joining the team, you’ll be at the centre of the action – revitalising neighbourhoods, developing new public spaces, delivering on our sustainability priorities, and improving infrastructure.
Your Contributions:
- Support the monitoring and development of the Local Plan and associated documents
- Good understanding of NPPF
- Development of Evidence based documents
- Consultation with residents, developers and stakeholders
- Presentation and Report writing
- Site Assessments
