About the team
You will be joining the Marketing and Business Development team as part of Hertfordshire Music Service (HMS). The marketing team supports all teams within HMS who deliver musical provision across multiple market segments enabling young people to experience the benefits of a high-quality music education.
This role is focused on delivering marketing and communications support to ensure the effective generation and retention of income for Hertfordshire Music Service.
This role reports into the Marketing and Business Development Manager and is part of a small effective team that also delivers production services, graphic design, funding and sponsorship support and communications.
You will be working with all teams across HMS with a diverse portfolio of needs and expectations.

About the role

- Operational support: support with daily business operations, ensuring that all administrative tasks, within the team, are executed efficiently.
- Marketing support: guide, develop, create, and track marketing/promotional materials in line with organisational branding guidelines, maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Communication co-ordination: operate as a central point of communication, relaying information between HMS and customers, and internal teams; ensuring accuracy, clarity and consistency.
- Retention assistance: contact, provide and maintain regular reports on customer feedback activities, contributing to strategy and planning of the retention programme.
- Project assistance: provide support in project management, assisting in coordination and implementation of business initiatives.
About you
Essential:
- Marketing Degree or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Project management experience.
- Successful delivery of marketing campaigns with proven marketing ROI.
- Proven track record of increasing Social Media engagement.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, driven, professional.
- Experience of developing and implementing communications plans
- Experience of working with graphic design
- Knowledge of the music industry
