Reporting to the Housing Options Manager you will carry out assessments of homeless applications to determine what statutory duties are owed to customers. You will then help customers either retain their existing accommodation or help them secure alternative accommodation.   You will have your own caseload and also participate in the team’s duty rota and manage a small team of Housing Options Co-ordinators alongside our other Senior Housing Options Officer.</p>\n<p>The role requires excellent communication and negotiation skills with a wide range of people and organisations. Your experience of working in a challenging front line homelessness service will help you to remain calm under pressure while delivering the highest levels of customer service.
