What you'll do
As a Senior Repairs Officer you will be a crucial member of the Repairs Delivery team, responsible for overseeing and manging complex, multi trade repair tasks, focussing on higher value variations and intricate cases within responsive repairs. The role combines technical expertise with leadership skills to ensure efficient and effect maintenance of our homes and an improved resident experience. It's an important role in ensuring we fix failure fast, improve the resident journey and achieve the best outcomes possible. You will be responsible for providing support to local teams in ensuring that repairs are carried out in time, to a high standard, and with great customer satisfaction.
How you'll do it
* Lead and support Repair Officers in handling complex repair tasks, or cases escalated from the Repair Hub.
* Develop and implement repair strategies for higher value variations and complex cases. * Assess and process escalated variations in repair works orders, providing details analysis and adhering to financial regulations.
* Collaborate with Repair officer and Regional Repair Leads to ensure that variations are carried out efficiently and within budget.
* Serve as the go to technical expert, providing guidance and support to the repair team in resolving complex issues.
* Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of work in property maintenance.
* Monitor repair costs and work within the allocate property budgets, providing cost effective solutions without compromising quality.
* Supervise and mentor Repair Officers, providing guidance and training as needed * Provide effective senior support functions in the delivery of day to day, responsive repairs for the operational businesses.

Mandatory
- Experience in administrative systems in busy environments.
- Strong organisational skills with a focus on customer service.
- Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Proficient in IT skills, including MS Office.
