Fighting for the best possible treatment, services and care for anyone affected by breast cancer.  </p>\n<p><strong>About the role</strong></p>\n<p>This is a really exciting time to be joining the award-winning Asda Tickled Pink team in a role which is of huge importance to the delivery of the partnership. 2025 and 2026 will be monumental, as we celebrate one of the biggest and longest standing partnerships in the sector, marking £100m raised by 2025 and going big to celebrate our 30<sup>th</sup> anniversary in 2026. This partnership allows us to go above and beyond for people affected by breast cancer, and this role is a key part of that.</p>\n<p>The role sits within the corporate partnerships team, specifically the Asda team, working alongside the head of Asda partnership and the Asda partnership officer.</p>\n<p>As the day-to-day contact leading on the partnership’s large scale and multifaceted activations, you’re responsible for the £5m annual target. From ideation to delivery, you’re involved at every stage. This role also has increased capacity to innovate, looking at new initiatives enabling us to achieve and exceed partnership KPIs.</p>\n<p>You’ll manage the income and expenditure budgets and restricted funding reporting of the partnership. We’re looking for <strong>locally based sessional facilitators</strong> to support the delivery of our Moving Forward courses across the UK. Our Moving Forward courses are for anyone with a primary breast cancer diagnosis who has finished their hospital-based treatment. Courses are a combination of face to face and online support and are delivered in partnership with local NHS Trusts/Boards. The number of courses can vary across locations but will typically be between <strong>2 - 4 courses a year (2 half days over consecutive weeks)</strong>.</p>\n<p>This is offered as a contract for services position and as such the appointed contractor would not be an employee of Breast Cancer Now but a self-employed individual. We require all contractors to adhere to and follow Breast Cancer Now applicable policies and procedures and to undertake some mandatory training in core subjects such as data protection and cyber security. A satisfactory criminal record check will be required.</p>\n<p><strong>About you</strong></p>\n<p>You’ll be based locally to one of the available locations with a strong background in group facilitation and course delivery. You’ll also have excellent organisation and time-management skills, superb oral and written communication skills, and the ability to multitask. We match people affected by primary breast cancer, as well as their family and friends and those who have inherited an increased genetic risk of developing the disease, with a trained volunteer who’s had a similar experience and can offer support by telephone or email.</p>\n<p>Within this new role you’ll contribute to service delivery through sensitively and efficiently arranging Someone Like Me calls, whilst working with the services manager to coordinate day-to-day management of the service. This will include managing a small number of staff members.
