Guildford Borough Council are looking for a part-time evening Cleaner who will be able to join our existing team in providing an evening cleaning service for the Millmead Offices.
The successful applicant will be expected to:
- vacuum all carpeted floor areas within the Millmead complex and mop all tiled/vinyl floors to ensure that areas are cleaned and fit for use
- collect recyclable and wet waste from all office/kitchenette areas on a daily basis and take to compound
- ensure that all office areas and public areas are cleaned and fit for use by office staff as directed by Evening Supervisor or Senior Caretaker.
You will be required to work as part of a team.
This is a part-time post for 10 hours per week. The working hours will be Monday to Thursday-16.50hrs to 18.50hrs & Fri 16.20hrs -18.20hrs.
The salary for this role is £23,695 pro-rata (£6404.05 for 10 hours per week). This is subject to increase following this years pay award.
We are anticipating a start date of 12th May, subject to receiving all necessary clearances.
