Halton Children’s Social Care are looking to recruit two Team Managers for our Duty and Assessment Team. We have one permanent position and one 12-month fixed-term contract (covering maternity leave). If you are an experienced manager and looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you!

Our Team:

We have a strong vision for social work practice in Halton and we are currently reviewing our practice model, though embedding a relationship-based practice model with a systemic practice and trauma informed approach is essential. We’re on an improvement journey and we’ve made it our mission to ensure that children and young people get the best service from us, so they are able to thrive and achieve.

For experienced workers we offer the opportunity for progression and continued professional development including a Practice Educator pathway and Leadership Programmes. We have strong links to our local Universities and we offer specialist training and membership of Research in Practice.

Team Manager posts are subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure and Social Work England Registration.
