Job Title: Senior Practitioner Educational Psychologist
Salary: Soulbury Scale B Point 3-6 £56,540 - £61,848 per annum + up to 3 SPA points + £3k Market Enhancement Pay* + £5k Welcome & Retention Payment**
Hours: 37.0 (3 days per week based with EP Service and 2 days per week based with Virtual School)
Location: Based in Hemel Hempstead or Stevenage with travel countywide

If you are a confident, forward-thinking Educational Psychologist with the ability to add to our innovative service, come and join our dynamic and reflective teams to support our work on behalf of Hertfordshire's children and young people (0-25 years).
About us
This is a new role working across Hertfordshire, and we are looking for an Educational Psychologist who is able to work collaboratively within the context of the EPS and the multi-disciplinary Virtual School team.
The EP will work between Hertfordshire's Virtual School and the Educational Psychology Service and will support the teams in their work to promote the education and well-being of all vulnerable children within the Virtual School remit . The EP will have responsibility for coordinating and delivering training, offering consultation to schools and working with individual children as required.
Our Service delivery model includes:
• 'SEND Support' intervention through a consultation model
• Systemic work and training to schools in close collaboration with the Delivering Specialist Provision Locally management groups (DSPLs)
• A 'Contact Line' for parents
• Crises support for schools
• Statutory duties

About you
Essential requirements:
To be successful you must hold a Professional Masters qualification in Educational Psychology alongside Qualified Teacher Status, OR professional Doctorate qualification in Educational Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council with evidence of up-to-date professional development in order to maintain registration status.
You will need to have a driving licence and access to a car for work purposes.
