The vacancy
Your typical day could start with site work and plant equipment allocation, to a team of Grounds Maintenance Operatives. Then you might be carrying out a range of horticultural activities such as mowing, weeding, pruning, planting, litter and leaf removal, pest, and disease control, before heading across to trim hedges around our estates.
As a Senior Environmental Operative, you'll be providing a high quality, customer focused grounds service. With a particular focus on maintaining our estates, you'll actively work in partnership with key colleagues to manage effective garden maintenance, developing and improving Peabody's environmental services to residents and ensuring we take full account of residents' needs.
You're a people person who likes to get things done. You'll enjoy working in an outdoors environment in all weather conditions and you're first rate at supervising and allocating work to a team. To be successful in this role you'll need to be on site five days a week.
