About Camden
Camden is changing on the inside to make life better for everyone. Our residents and communities are at the heart of everything we do. We’re home to the most important conversations happening today and we’re making radical social change a reality, so that nobody gets left behind. Here’s where you can help decide a better future for us all. Our goal is to ensure that everyone in Camden has a place they can call home.
What You’ll Be Doing
Take the lead in transforming Camden's approach to single homelessness and rough sleeping. This multifaceted role demands dynamic and inspiring leadership to foster a shared mission across the Council and our partners. You will collaborate with health, social care, and third sector organizations to develop needs-driven services while promoting trauma-informed practices.
With significant strategic, staffing, program, and financial management responsibilities, you will drive impactful initiatives such as shaping and implementing the Council’s Homelessness and Rough Sleeping strategy for single homeless individuals. You will lead the rough sleeping team, oversee the commissioning of supported housing, and strategically manage a complex budget that leverages external funding to fill local service gaps. Building robust partnerships with key stakeholders to enhance resources and address transient homelessness will be crucial, as will ensuring effective services for those sleeping rough and working to reduce the impact on Camden communities. Collaboration with teams will be essential to guarantee that services are efficient, equitable, and compliant with best practices.
All About You
We’re looking for an enthusiastic leader dedicated to delivering services that prioritize residents’ needs. You’ll be authentic and inspiring, capable of engaging others and bringing the Council’s vision to life. With a strong understanding of the homelessness landscape, you’ll champion accountability and have experience in contract management to improve service outcomes. Your proactive approach will ensure accessibility for all residents, while your collaborative spirit will foster inclusive solutions.
