This is an exciting time to join Harold Court Primary School as we embark on a new chapter in our long history by establishing a brand-new nursery in September 2025. Are you the person who has the dedication and drive to support the school in establishing an outstanding nursery?
We are seeking a caring and friendly EYFS Teaching Assistant who has a positive outlook to join our nurturing, inclusive, and play-based early years environment, where every child is given the opportunity to thrive and flourish. If you are ready to make a genuine difference in the lives of our children and contribute to their emotional, social, and educational development, we would love to hear from you.
We are looking for someone who has:
• Experience working with children in an EYFS setting, ideally within a nursery;
• A relevant Level 3 childcare qualification;
• A rich knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework and how children learn;
• The ability to support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum in both classroom and outdoor spaces;
• Skills to assess children’s progress and using IT effectively;
• A commitment to pastoral care and supporting social and emotional development through play;
• A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with parents and colleagues alike;
• A creative, enthusiastic individual who embraces new ideas and is always looking for innovative ways to enhance the learning environment.
