They will depend on you to meet all of their daily needs, by showing a caring attitude and building a trusting relationship. This is a very rewarding role where the more you give, the better the outcome.</p>\n<p><strong>As a Support Worker you will on a shift rota over seven days and;</strong></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and follow agreed support plans and risk assessments to ensure that we are providing a service that meets each individual`s needs</li>\n<li>Work alongside families and friends to identify person centred care as well as learning to identify what makes the individual happy, what they like and what they dont like.</li>\n<li>Respect that the scheme is their own home and not just a place of work</li>\n<li>You will be providing personal care, with some hoisting (full training will be given)</li>\n<li>You will be supporting activities both inside and outside the home, by being creative and introducing new ideas to offer variety.</li>\n<li>Helping plan for and accompany them on trips in the local community and further afield using the scheme vehicle.</li>\n<li>Supporting with domestic tasks such as cooking meals and cleaning within the home</li>\n<li>Under supervision you may administer medication (full training will be given)</li>\n<li>Build long lasting support relationships with people who will benefit from you \"being the difference\".</li>\n</ul>\n<p>.<strong>About You;</strong></p>\n<p>If you have previously worked in a care setting or health and social care field and have experience of providing support to vulnerable people then this role could be perfect for you.
