We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, talented, and innovative Curriculum Team Leader of English with a proven track record of improving standards and an unwavering commitment to achievement in English. The successful candidate will lead and manage the English team and be relentless in the pursuit of excellence.
The successful candidate must have excellent subject knowledge and be committed to raising the achievement and aspirations of all pupils. Additionally, you will need to sustain improvements in the teaching and learning of English. The department aims to nurture the potential of every pupil and support their progress towards becoming confident, autonomous young people. Teachers within the department strive to stimulate, motivate and inspire the pupils through engaging lessons which draw on active, participative learning. The curriculum team endeavours to foster a positive learning culture, which allows pupils’ self-confidence to develop within a framework of high expectations.
We are making substantial improvements in all areas, and we are investing heavily in our staffing structure to continue this momentum.
