Catholic values and our school ethos.</p>\n<p>To ensure that all students with SEND receive tailored support and provision, working in close collaboration with teachers, parents, external professionals and the wider community. </p>\n<p>Monitor and review the progress of SEND students, ensuring appropriate interventions are in place and individual needs are met effectively. </p>\n<p>Be an advocate for the inclusion and well-being of SEND students, promoting their participation in all aspects of school life. </p>\n<p>Provide guidance and training to all staff on best practices for supporting SEND students, fostering a whole-school approach to inclusion. </p>\n<p>Oversee the creation and implementation of IEPs, PEPs, OPPs and ASPs, ensuring they reflect the school's Catholic values and holistic approach to education. </p>\n<p>Maintain up-to date records and ensure compliance with relevant SEND legislation and guidelines. </p>\n<p>To lead, support and work collaboratively with all stakeholders to promote positive relationships and positive behaviour across the whole setting. </p>\n<p>To be committed to safeguarding and work within our safeguarding team as a DSL. </p>\n<p>Work closely alongside our Home-School Support worker to establish, encourage and maintain strong relationships between parents and school. </p>\n<p>To organise and lead parent workshops. </p>\n<p>To work closely alongside the SLT, Admin Team and families to improve attendance.</p>\n<p>To oversee the implementation of the health and safety policy.</p>\n<p>Applicants must Due to the retirement of our highly respected and much loved SENDCO, the Headteacher and Governing Body of St Werburgh's Catholic Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and effective SENDCO to join our team.
