The Mawney Foundation School is a proactive, supportive, well-resourced 3 form entry primary school, with high expectations of all members of staff and pupils. The school has also been graded as ‘Good’ in our last 3 Ofsted inspections (most recent in January 2020).
The Executive Head teacher, Head teacher and Governors are currently looking for an experienced, highly motivated and enthusiastic Attendance and Welfare Officer to join our fun and supportive team.
Due to the upcoming retirement of the current, wonderful, long serving members of our office staff, an exciting opportunity has arisen for you to be part of a new office team and join us in the next phase of our fabulous schools' journey. You will be supported by the experienced finance team and senior leadership team.
The school is also part of The Learning and Achieving Federation (formed with Crownfield Junior School), which enables the schools to share training, support, expertise and resources across both sites for the benefit of the pupils and staff.
Required to start in April 2025, an enthusiastic, flexible, confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills to work in a busy school office, term time only. An ability to work on your own initiative and to keep calm under pressure is essential.
You will support families to improve attendance and ensure the welfare of our children remains top priority and outstanding care is given. The role will include extensive use of word processing, spreadsheets and general reception duties, as well as the use of our Management Information System, so experience of these types of software are essential.
If you think you have the experience, energy, enthusiasm and skills to fit into our continually improving school, applications can be submitted online.
