Are you a finance professional with experience in business partnering and a passion for providing strategic financial insight? Peabody is looking for a Finance Business Partner to support our Care & Support Directorate, ensuring financial sustainability and aiding key decision-making through high-quality reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with directors and heads of service to provide financial guidance.
- Deliver accurate and timely financial information to support strategic decision-making.
- Lead on financial modelling for contracts, funding, and commissioned services.
- Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for executive review.
- Act as the financial lead on large-scale, high-risk, and transformational projects.
- Support finance process improvements and system enhancements.
- Train budget holders to ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you'll have:
- A CCAB accountancy qualification with post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience as a Finance Business Partner, advising and influencing senior management.
- Strong financial analysis and forecasting skills, with the ability to provide strategic insights.
- Knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS, and experience using financial systems (Sun Systems preferred).
- Experience in housing, supported housing, local authorities, or the charity sector.
- Excellent communication and confidence in stakeholder engagement.
