Guilden Sutton is a happy and successful school with a strong Christian ethos.
The Governing Body is seeking to appoint an inspirational and highly motivated teaching assistant to join our hard working and dedicated team to provide 1:1 support for a child within a classroom setting.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children with special educational needs, particularly ASC – (including speech and development), and will have undertaken appropriate specialist training in this area. Patience, kindness and resilience are essential qualities for this role, as is the ability to contribute to the whole school team through a positive and proactive approach.
The role is temporary and will continue until the child leaves the school or if your support is no longer needed when it will expire with notice.
All candidates should be committed to supporting the ethos and values of a Church of England School.
Guilden Sutton CE Primary School places the highest priority on the safeguarding of children and all applicants will follow a stringent vetting and induction process. As this post involves contact with children it will therefore be subject to an enhanced DBS check. Any offer of employment will be conditional upon the outcome of this check.
