We are looking for individuals to keep St Helens Children stay safe on our roads.
Our School Crossing Patrol Operatives have an essential role in keeping local communities and pedestrians safe. Not only that, but your role is fundamental to ensuring the safety of children and other pedestrians when crossing in designated positions
Experience and formal qualifications are not required but you will have a good rapport with children and adults, alongside an awareness of road safety. We are interested to hear from individuals from different backgrounds and at all career stages. If you've got the people skills to deal with children, drivers, parents and teachers, we'll train you to confidently manage the traffic! All of our Operatives receive full training in the role.
If you would like to work 5 hours a week, are reliable and enthusiastic and want to contribute to the community we would welcome your application to join our team - Our communities rely on our Officers to travel safely on their journey to and from school which is why we need people who can commit to cover times that support the individual school in the mornings and afternoons, 5 days a week during term time, and are happy to work outdoors rain or shine to make positive contribution to road safety summer and winter uniforms will be provided and you will be paid during school holidays.
