Job-share arrangement
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Cashiers and Payments team. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of transactions, maintaining financial records, and supporting financial reconciliation activities.
Duties will include:
- Processing a range of financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain and update financial records on the authority’s systems.
- Work closely with other departments and organisations to ensure smooth financial operations.
Applicants will have:
- Proven experience in processing payments and handling financial transactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills, good knowledge of financial systems and relevant software (e.g., Excel).
The working hours are:
Week1 - Monday, Wednesday & Friday (24 hours)
Week 2 - Tuesday & Thursday (16 hours) the following week.
The successful candidate will work in the office on one day per week.
