An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Parking Processing Manager in our Parking Services Team. Are you a dedicated enthusiastic experienced manager with a parking environment background that is able to manage the delivery of the Council’s parking processing functions, including developing and managing efficient and effective processes for Penalty Charge recovery and permit issue, ensuring that all representations, appeals, complaints and FOI’s are processed in accordance with current policy.
As one of our Team Managers you will provide effective leadership to a team of processing & appeal officers, ensuring a supportive and collaborative working environment, encouraging high standards in others and assisting and inspiring your team towards achieving their goals. Supported by your assistant team supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the team understanding and responding to busy work volumes to ensure adequate staff cover arrangements and the provision of exceptional customer service in a busy environment.
You will be responsible for undertaking budget monitoring and management, including analysis of income and expenditure and the preparation of reports.
You will assist with the management of the wider Parking Team by contributing to the development of polices and processes, ensuring that all functions are coordinated. You will have the ability to demonstrate the advanced theoretical, practical and procedural knowledge across a Parking Enforcement and Recovery area.
Applicants must have previous Parking experience.
