About the Roles
We are recruiting for two key roles:

Housing Support Worker - Young People: Supporting young people aged 16-21, including care leavers, helping them build independence and access essential support services.

Housing Support Worker - Homeless Adults: Providing support to adults facing homelessness, substance misuse, mental health challenges, and involvement with the criminal justice system.
To be considered for these roles, candidates must demonstrate the following essential criteria in their application:

Understanding of Homelessness & Housing Legislation: Awareness of key legislation and how it impacts the people we support.

Support Planning & Risk Assessments: Experience in creating and managing support plans and identifying risks effectively.

Signposting & Multi-Agency Work: Ability to connect young people with mental health, sexual abuse, and drug and alcohol support services.

Strong IT & Attention to Detail: Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and maintaining accurate records.

Commitment to Shift Work & Sleep-Ins: The role requires shift work across 7 days, 5 days per week (37.5 hours), plus sleep-ins (sleep allowance provided).
Interview Process & Key Dates

Only candidates who meet the essential criteria will be invited to a telephone screening interview.

In-person interviews will take place on 29th April, 30th April, 8th May, 12th May, and 13th May at our offices in The Octagon, Colchester.
