Premises Officer

Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Primary School, is a single form entry school within Seaforth Village. The Governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, conscientious and self -motivated person who would provide security, caretaking and general maintenance of our school site, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.

The successful candidate will:

• be responsible for the day to day operational management, safety, cleanliness and security of the school, responsible for locking and unlocking the school
• carry out and record checks and help to maintain Health and Safety records
• support the maintenance of property and grounds including liaising with contractors
• monitor site stock and ordering supplies
• have experience of and ability to carry out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently
• be willing to attend Health and Safety courses
• be willing to attend to exceptional cleaning duties
• be a team player and can be flexible in their approach to work with good interpersonal skills and communication skills
