You will be supported in your development within the role with the opportunity to undertake further post graduate study if required.  Responsibilities will include assessing planning applications, undertaking site visits, writing reports and engaging in correspondence and discussion with applicants, their agents, members of the public, your colleagues and our elected Members.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>About you</strong></p>\n<p>You must be extremely well-organised, self-motivated and flexible.  We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, forward thinking and a good team player.</p>\n<p>It is essential that you hold a degree qualification to be considered for this role. A post graduate degree in planning is desirable but not essential.</p>\n<p>This is a permanent full time role, which for the right candidate is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and progress your career.
