Project Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Manager for the Office for Public Service Innovation, the first of it’s kind in the UK: this is an innovative programme, driving transformative change through agile methodologies taking both data driven and community development approaches to public service innovation. 

As Project Manager, you'll oversee the delivery of some of our workstreams which are delivering cutting-edge projects that enhance public services and improve citizen experiences. You'll collaborate with diverse stakeholders, foster a culture of innovation, and ensure successful outcomes. 

This necessitates working in a fast moving development environment, deploying new agile approaches in technical environments working with people from across local organisations.  This balances work with data, stakeholders, communities and national Government to convene and shape the plan for delivery. 

This is a 6 month vacancy until 30th June 2025.

 About the person

You will have strong experience in a range of programmes and projects which can be applied to our work, gained from different contexts.  An inclusive, collaborative and results oriented manager, you will be able to balance adherence to process with the need to achieve milestones and outputs.  You should be a problem solver, demonstrate adaptability and flexibility and have the ability to see the big picture and picture the required future state.
