About the role:
Horsham District Council is looking for a Commercial Waste Manager (Maternity Cover) to be accountable for the management of the commercial waste teams to ensure that resources are deployed effectively, and a high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
The post holder will be accountable for taking a lead in developing a range of commercial services to include commercial waste and recycling, as well as developing and implementing new revenue generation initiatives.

About you:
To succeed as Commercial Waste Manager (Maternity Cover) you will have management experience and good awareness of Health and Safety legislation in the workplace. You will have experience of working in a customer service environment with strong communication skills. You will also have project management experience and budget management experience with the ability to develop new income strategies.
