To work as part of a professional team and support the manager in dealing with all aspects of Street Trading. This includes having substantial expert knowledge of Street Trading and Markets including wide ranging technical knowledge from an extensive range of legislation and the ability to apply it. To be able to investigate offences to a high standard with minimal supervision and to take the appropriate action to achieve compliance and to be able to see the bigger picture. You will be required to carryout routine inspections and have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build relationships as you will be dealing with licence holders, business owners and members of the public. You must be able to accurately maintain financial, administrative, and investigative records in accordance with service standards and best practice.
