Principal ICT Infrastructure and Security Officer

We are seeking a talented and experienced ICT Infrastructure and Security Officer to help us drive these crucial areas and ensure the smooth, secure, and scalable operation of our IT systems.

As the Principal IT Infrastructure and Security Officer, you will play a key role in leading and managing a skilled team of IT professionals to design, implement, and maintain the organisation’s IT infrastructure, systems, and security protocols. You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT infrastructure and security teams, ensuring a high level of availability, performance, and security across all systems.

About you 
As a motivated and dedicated officer, you will need to demonstrate the following attributes:  
•    Be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
•    Lead and manage the IT Infrastructure and Security teams, fostering collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance
•    Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of networks, servers, storage, and cloud systems.
•    Develop and enforce IT security policies, standards, and procedures.
•    Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

This role is subject to a DBS check.  You will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
