This role is very much in the public eye therefore, tact, diplomacy, and understanding customers’ needs in an empathetic manner are essential. You will need excellent communication skills, an ability to use your own initiative and have a flexible approach to your work.</p>\n<p>You must be educated to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Mathematics.&nbsp; You must have experience of working in a revenue services environment or similar and have a basic understanding of the law relating to Council Tax and Non-Domestic Rates.</p>\n<p>We offer a competitive salary, enrolment in the local government pension scheme, flexible hours, hybrid working, a generous annual leave entitlement that increases with service, a whole host of family-friendly benefits, 1 days’ paid volunteering leave per year, free staff car parking* and £10 gym membership at one of our four gyms in the district.
