The Role:
The role sits within our Leadership Team in Liverpool City Council’s Neighbourhoods and Housing directorate, and we are seeking an Apprentice Personal Assistant to our Directors to join our team.
As a Personal Assistant to the Leadership Team, you will manage and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing a key enabling service which allows our leadership colleagues to function at their highest capacity and capability. You will provide an efficient service, remaining quick and calm under pressure and equipped with the confidence and knowledge to act on matters affecting the highest level of local governance.
The successful candidate will fully support the daily business operations in the organisation of the Directors schedule through full diary management in a proactive, efficient and confidential manner. Ensuring that a professional reception service is offered to visitors to our Directors. Manage the incoming communications on behalf of our Directors – filtering emails and other general information, queries, phone calls and invitations, highlighting urgent correspondence as necessary.
You will have regular contact with the Leader of the Council, our Chief Executive, elected members, MPs, partner agencies and the media. We are therefore looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills, and who can pay attention to detail.
You will undertake and complete the Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship as part of this role.
