One of Burnley Council’s strategic priorities is prosperity, and its Business Support Team prides itself in delivering a pro-active business and economic development service to support local business growth and attracting new investment to the town.
The team are looking for someone to assist with the implementation of the Councils’ key priorities and objectives aligned to its strategies, business support activities, business contact programme its inward investment services as well as delivering projects on the skills and employment agenda.
To be a successful candidate you must have experience of working with organisations that provide business advice and support. You must also have experience in maintaining and analysing computer-based systems to collate and interrogate data and run reports.
Effective communication skills are also essential as the role will in involve speaking/meeting with businesses who require support and who are looking to invest in Burnley.
