You’ll join the Council’s Grounds Maintenance team to work throughout Wyre Borough including our cemeteries, gaining valuable skills and experience in grounds maintenance working alongside experienced colleagues that have delivered our year-on-year green flag success. \nWhat you’ll need\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge and ability to use a range of grounds maintenance equipment.</li>\n<li>To demonstrate regular and reliable attendance with a flexible team working approach.</li>\n<li>To be sufficiently physically mobile to undertake the duties of a Seasonal Gardener.</li>\n<li>A current full driving licence would be advantageous. </li>\n</ul>\nWhat you’ll get in return\n<ul>\n<li>Hands on experience working with teams that have award winning standards.</li>\n<li>Training and development opportunities covering a range of grounds maintenance equipment and methodologies.</li>\n<li>A competitive rate of pay including additional benefits such as employer pension contributions, 24 days annual leave including bank holidays and a work environment that will help you develop and grow.</li>\n</ul>\nThese posts are temporary for 6 months with the option to extend. \nWe will be holding a recruitment drop-in session at the Wyre Council Copse Road Depot on 6 February from 1.00pm for anyone that wants to come along and discuss the positions or needs help with their application.
