16:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday & 08:30 - 13:00 Saturday

This is your opportunity to assist young people on their musical journey from their first steps to performing in prestigious venues such as the Royal Albert Hall. You would be working as part of a friendly, supportive team ensuring that every child's music matters.

About the role
- To be the first point of contact and support for pupils, parents and teachers for the music school.
- To maintain the organisation of correspondence, via phone, email and face to face
- To support with administrative tasks involved with the running of the centre, such as;-
- Upholding standards of safeguarding, health and safety and data security
- The maintenance of the centre lesson timetable - Be responsible for opening and closing the centre on a Saturday (Hitchin only)
- Assisting our customers with their musical journey by; arranging and supporting pupils in starting individual lessons and ensembles; assisting existing members with queries; supporting our teachers with queries
About you
Essential Criteria
- Strong communication skills - professional approach to telephone and face to face communication
- Customer-focused attitude
- Able to multi-task and comfortable in a busy working environment
- Competent user of Microsoft Office software - particularly Excel / Word / Outlook / Teams
- Some experience or knowledge of music or educational environment would be an advantage.
