As a Band 6 Acute Liaison Nurse you will work within the Health Liaison Team supporting people with learning disabilities when they are admitted to a general hospital. <br><br><b>About the role</b><br><br> You will be working within the general hospital to offer learning disability expertise to reduce the risks of poorer outcomes for people with learning disabilities admitted into hospital for emergency or planned admissions. <br><br> Your skills in recommending the right approach for the individual will help your clinical colleagues and paid/family carers to get the best outcome for the person.
