Salary FTE £30,559 - £37,938 pa + Outer Fringe Allowance £706 pa (Actual salary £16,518 - £20,507 pa + OFA £382 pa)
weekdays with occasional evening and weekend work
This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of Winkfield Parish Council
Winkfield Parish Council is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented individual to support the Clerk in delivering high-quality council services and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key responsibilities
- Research information to support Council projects and decisions
- Prepare reports and format quotes and documents as required
- Assist in drafting policies and procedures
- Support health & safety duties, including risk assessments
- Liaise with councils, organisations, and partner authorities
- Assist with the preparation and distributing of agendas, minutes, and meeting papers
- Manage correspondence, enquiries, and document records
- Support procurement, contracts, and community events
- Deputise for the Clerk when necessary
What we’re looking for
- Admin experience (local government preferred)
- Strong communication, research, and organisational skills
- Confident with Microsoft Office and general IT
- Able to prioritise and work independently
- Professional, flexible, and team-oriented
