The Observatory School (On-Site)
Permanent, Part time
£10,011
All Year
Band B
15 Working Hours – All Year Working
Required 02/06/2025
As The Observatory School grows we are adding to a team which has high expectations and sets high standards for both pupils and colleagues. Due to the school expansion over three separate sites, a number of opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic and conscientious cleaners who will be based at the schools’ Leasowe Campus and Solar Campus.
The successful candidates must display a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene. They will also have experience of working in a similar role and have the ability to assist the facilities team with the upkeep and high standards of cleanliness expected for school. Previous experience is an advantage however, not essential as training will be provided. You must have excellent organisational skills as well as the ability to work autonomously.
The school is a truly remarkable place and we offer the opportunity to work with our area's most extraordinary children and the most resilient, cohesive and supportive staff team, where a working day is never the same as the last.
Contracted hours will be 15 per week, Monday to Friday, 3.00pm to 6.00pm (negotiable)
If you feel you would like to embark on the adventure, please take the opportunity to submit an application. Please note, we cannot accept CV’s as an application. All forms provided must be fully completed.
Closing date for the vacancy is Friday 16th May 2025 at 12.00pm to commence as soon as possible. Due to high volumes of applications, the school will be operating a rolling interview process whereby candidates may be invited to interview following receipt of their application should the essential criteria be met.
Fully completed application forms should be accompanied by a letter of application, no longer than one side of A4 and submitted to recruitment@theobservatoryschool.wirral.sch.uk
AI is part of emerging technology that is widely being embraced to support new and improved ways of working. Whilst AI has many benefits, we ask that you don’t use AI software to create your application. We’re looking to get to know you, your skills and experience, we’d like to hear this directly from you rather than AI. With this in mind, applications generated through AI may be disqualified.
The school is committed to the highest standards of safeguarding and promoting the safety and welfare of our children and expects the same level of commitment from all staff.
This post is subject to an Enhanced Level CRB check.
All applicants will be considered on the basis of suitability for the post regardless of sex, race or disability
