Assistant Headteacher

Assistant Head – Permanent – 32.44 hours per week (L1 – L4)

 

Due to the promotion of a member of the SLT, Victoria Road Primary School are looking to appoint an Assistant Principal to work in our school. This is an exciting opportunity to take a greater role in the strategic leadership of the school. Further details can be found in the person specification and job description.

We are looking for a leader who has a desire and the drive to not only be an outstanding classroom practitioner but also share in the leadership of the school. To be successful, you will be well organised, motivated, resilient and flexible with high expectations of attainment, achievement and behaviour and have the drive to make a difference to the education of all our pupils. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills.

 

We are a friendly, inclusive school and were recently judged to be a good school by Ofsted (May 2024).  We are looking for someone who is passionate about children and learning to join our nurturing team and help us on our journey of continuous improvement.  An interest in leading English would be an advantage.
