Our Team:
The Project Management team sits within the Operational side of Property Services. The team is responsible for delivering a wide variety of projects across the borough, ranging from multi-million pound new build and refurbishment projects down to smaller scale maintenance projects. The team also plays an integral role in the delivery of some of the regeneration projects within the Borough. Basically the team helps ensure that our accommodation is fit for purpose and meets the needs and expectations of our residents, members and officers alike.
Hours: 37 per week
Your Contributions:
You will be responsible for managing a wide variety of projects from inception to completion to ensure they are delivered on programme and on budget. You will be responsible for evaluating customer needs and preparing design briefs and carrying out feasibility studies where necessary. In conjunction with Procurement you will prepare tender documents when required and evaluate tender returns and make recommendations on appointing contractors. You will also be responsible for commissioning consultants and external design teams when necessary.
