Join our West Kent Partnership team and play a key role in supporting the economic development of a leading UK sub-region. We are focused on shaping West Kent’s future and securing it as a business powerhouse in Kent by helping businesses to grow, invest and flourish.
You’ll be responsible for working across the partnership (Sevenoaks District Council, Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council and Tunbridge Wells Council) preparing and implementing the partnership’s strategy and action plan. You’ll actively promote the Invest West Kent brand and the region as a great place for business.
You’ll take the lead on delivering projects for the partnership, liaising with key stakeholder organisations and businesses so your communication skills will be invaluable. With your experience in economic development, you’ll take responsibility for matrix working and develop a shared sense of purpose across the partnership to develop and achieve results.

This role will be based at our Council Offices, Argyle Road, Sevenoaks Kent TN13 1HG with occasional working from our partner sites. We currently operate a hybrid working model for the majority of our roles where your working time will be divided between the office and home working.
Please note that this is a part time role (22 hours a week) on a fixed term contract for 2 years.
