Community Engagement and Outreach:</strong> </p>\n\n <p>Lead community engagement and upskilling activities, including heritage education programmes, public consultations, and volunteer recruitment. </p>\n\n <p>Project manage a series of heritage conferences to engage local, regional and national stakeholders and contribute to sharing the learning from the project. </p>\n\n <p>Support the development of more inclusive and accessible engagement with heritage. </p>\n\n <p>Assist Havering’s heritage sector in better including children, young people, and those historically underrepresented within heritage engagement and representation, disseminating the learning from this practice and helping heritage organisations to better realise community and individual wellbeing benefits of heritage through active participation </p>\n\n <p><strong>3. Fundraising:</strong> </p>\n <p>Develop and facilitate Havering’s relationship with strategic funders of heritage related activity, including Historic England, the National Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage, Greater London Authority etc, ensuring Havering plays an active role in regional and national heritage sector and aligns with and contributes to the strategic objectives of those funders </p>\n <p>Identify and secure external funding, preparing grant applications and managing funded projects in accordance with funding requirements, including helping secure the onward funding required to contribute this post beyond the initial two years </p>\n <p><strong>6. Health and Safety:</strong> </p>\n <p>Ensure that all heritage activities delivered by the role comply with health and safety regulations, particularly when managing sites in poor condition or during public events. </p>\n <p><strong>7.
