This isn’t just a job—it’s a calling.The Aspire Learning Federation is offering an extraordinary opportunity for an exceptional teacher who has proven experience in working with both mainstream and high need SEN learners to join our small but mighty team here at R J Mitchell Primary School: a very unique LA maintained, mainstream primary school which has a highly inclusive ethos, where almost a third of its learners are on the SEND register and their complex high SEND needs are met through the mainstream, resource and specialist SEN unit provisions.

• A person who is passionate about equipping all learners with the skills and confidence to succeed socially, emotionally and academically;
• A person who values restorative practices and trauma-informed education and the importance of nurturing both learners and staff;
• A person who has a ‘can do’ attitude, is caring, hardworking and resilient in their outlook;
• A teacher who understands how children learn and has a proven track record of outstanding practices in teaching and learning within the primary phase; in particular in supporting SEN pupils with high need within a mainstream setting;
• A teacher who has a creative and innovative approach to teaching and learning and you go to great lengths to deliver this on a daily basis;
• A person who is IT savvy and uses technology to enhance their teaching;
• A person who is passionate, proactive and organised and able to work at a fast pace and to tight deadlines.
• A person who is resilient and displays high levels of commitment to their work and work colleagues.
