THE ROLE The Strategic Commissioning Manager is responsible for leading projects and initiatives across a range of council housing functions. Through applying expertise in disciplines such as project management, continuous improvement, affordable housing or general housing management, the post holder will contribute to the Council’s aims of providing excellent housing services. ABOUT YOU We are keen to hear from candidates who have: <ul>\n<li>a thorough understanding of commissioning, contract management, project management and improvement processes and principles in the context of local authority and affordable housing</li> <li>experience of working in partnership with multiple stakeholders and experience of engagement and co-production with service users;</li> <li>excellent analytical, communication, report writing and presentation skills.</li> </ul> To succeed in this role, you will also have effective project management skills and will be able to work well under pressure across a range of priorities, and to tight deadlines.
