Lead SEND Educator

Guildford Nursery School has a new opportunity available to start 1^st September 2025. We are looking for an Early Years Educator with a passion for and experience of working with children who have additional needs. The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCo in supporting key people to meet the needs of children with SEND.

The post is for 36 hours a week Term Time Only but we will consider someone working less hours over a minimum of 4 days a week. One 8am start per week and attendance at Wednesday staff meeting until 5.15pm is essential.

Role:

The post will be based at Guildford Nursery School, Hazel Avenue GU1 1NR and York Road GU1 4DU. 

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Holds a full and relevant level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Is a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Is able to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
• Has a high level of expertise in supporting children with SEND or willing to learn.
• Can confidently work with children, parents, colleagues and other professionals.

Salary range: £29,697 - £31,848

Actual annual salary: £25,548 pa pro rata (based on 36 hours per week, TTO)
