We need someone who can work in a challenging yet incredibly rewarding environment, where you can make a real difference to people’s lives. </p>\n<p>This role will be responsible for assessing and discharging the Council's statutory duties under the Homelessness Reduction Act and developing personalised housing plans to prevent and relieve homelessness.  While experience is valued, we also welcome applications from individuals with relevant and transferable knowledge and skills, as we are committed to providing excellent support and training. </p>\n<p>Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is deeply empathetic and can communicate with clarity while maintaining good boundaries in a role where you'll be making significant decisions in people's lives. You will be motivated, passionate, and resilient, with the ability to work well under pressure. Success in this role also requires the ability to navigate policy and process effectively, alongside being creative and adaptable in your approach to helping people. </p>\n<p>You will be working with a diverse range of residents with varying needs and strengths. This requires you to be adept and skilled in your interactions, as some individuals may present with challenging behaviours due to their life experiences and potential trauma. </p>\n<p>This vital work requires strong collaboration with partner agencies.
