The Financial Management Service provides financial support to officers across the Council, helping them manage the financial resources they use to deliver services to Knowsley residents. You will support the development, implementation and review of financial management processes across a range of Council clients - providing effective, high-quality advice to your clients on budget setting, budget monitoring, the closure of accounts, and the development of the Council’s medium term financial strategy.
You must be qualified in a Professional Accountancy Qualification (preferably CIPFA). You should also have extensive experience in a finance or accountancy role - including experience of working in the public sector.
